What?

You're scalping dinos and their eggs. The police have been cracking down on that market. Make the most money, bank the most cash, and settle your debt in 30 days!

You start with some cash and more debt. Every time you move, a day passes. Buy eggs and dinos low and sell high to become the emperor of this lucrative-ish market.

Once you hit day 30, the game is over and your score will be tallied up. Your score is calculated as your cash on hand + banked cash + 10% bonus to banked cash - debt. Post your highest score in the comments!

Locations

Safe House

In the Safe House, you can stash your eggs and dinos to prevent them from cracking or running away. Here you can also hire some muscle to travel with you and protect you from getting robbed, but only for a limited number of turns.

Loan (Mega-LOAN-Don)

The Mega-LOAN-Don insists he's a nice guy to those who pay on time. Here in his den you can borrow cash and settle your debt. Every day while you still have debt, the interest rate increases to encourage you to pay it off sooner.

Bank

The Fossil Futures Bank promises a safe, stable place to store your hard-earned mula. You can deposit your money and let it accrue interest every day or take it out once you've had it stewing for a while.

Shops

There are two shops on this weird island. Both buy and sell eggs and dinos, but the Egg Shop has higher demand for eggs, leading to higher prices for eggs. The Dino Shop is really interested in buying your dinos at an increased markup.

You can only sell eggs and dinos that are traveling with you, not those you have stashed in your Safe House. You can only pay in cash.

Jail

The police have been tailing you left and right. If you get caught, you can bribe them or hand over the eggs they want... But if you can't pay, you can spend a few days in the local jail (and let your debt grow meanwhile.)

A variety of events can happen while you travel. Here are just some:

• One of your eggs might hatch
• ...or break
• You may find some money lying on the ground
• ...or get robbed for all your worth

Dino & Egg types

This island is only interested in these dinos, for whatever reason:

• Velociraptor - slightly bigger than a house cat, this is the bread and butter of every two-bit pusher in this town.
• Stegosaurus - this thing's spine spike... things fetch a pretty penny.
• Triceratops - no one knows how so many of these ended up here, but demand hasn't been so great.
• Spinosaurus - the bigger they are, the more they run for.
• T-Rex - while arguably not the biggest dino out of all of them, the cultural impact of this one has made it one of the most desirable "products."
• Lizard - lizard
